I’ve been playing HeroQuest with my three daughters (ages 8, 6, and 4). Here are some quotes heard around our gaming table:
“I wish I was an elf so I could use spells. Barbarians don’t use spells. They use swords.”
“I want to move up behind Cubbi the Elf and Snips the Witch so I can get in line to get that orc!”
“I got hit but then I drank a potion and it made my boo-boos go away!”
“Daddy… Can I be a bad guy so I can come sit on your lap?”
“What’s your battle cry?”
(pause) “I wasn’t crying…”
